On Friday morning , October 6,2017, my cousin Fides Ann Arceo-Dela Cruz lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer stage 4, Liver, Lungs and Abdomen mets.
She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer shortly after her operation last Aug 7, 2017 due to ovarian tumor. She started her chemo last Sept 12,2017. Doctors revealed that the CT scan shows cancer rapidly spreading throughout her body and needs to hold the second chemo as her body was too weak. She has been in and out of the hospital fighting. She was surrounded by our family and friends at the last moment of her life.
It deeply saddens us because she passed on not seeing her parents and siblings since they are not here in the United States. It will be a great help for her family to assist them for the return of ate Dhey in the Philippines.
