Navy Family’s 1st Home Unlivable

I’m deployed and my wife and kids have it rough. Thinking about the fraudulent damage we are overcoming! The 3 bed / 1 bath house we bought shouldn’t have passed inspection, we were out of state and trusted the lengthy report we received. To be fair, the sellers hid the worst damage. They didn’t disclose: rotted roof rafters hidden by vaulting the ceiling, no insulation between concrete block walls and glued on paneling, gutter pipes busted under the ground and flooding to basement, rotten spot in the bathroom floor (1 bathroom house), mold, plumbing leaks, electrical and other safety issues. Didn’t sue because of their violent criminal records and me being gone. The closing costs and repairs we already completed depleted our funds and we took large loans for Structural and Waterproofing work. My wife has secured part-time employment and our kids have been troopers living in a construction zone and adjusting to their 5th and 6th Elementary schools.
