Helping Orphans of Ethiopia- Addis Ababa

Have you ever thought of, or wanted to help some or even one of the so very many Orphans, but worried about how much of your donation would actually get to where it was needed?  Me too!  So now I go personally and see for myself what the greatest need is and strive to use every penny in the best way possible.
Please Join me in helping Orphans who have no one!  Some are lucky enough to have nannies who do care and do their best to look after them, but in some orphanages little ones are only able to have their diapers changed 2 times a day, they have no stimulation and lay 2 or 3 to a cot wet, dirty and starving for attention.
Every dollar makes a difference, no donation is too small!!

I travel to Ethiopia for extended periods of time to help the Orphans. There is so much needed that it can get overwhelming, but every little thing you can do to help, is one step forward and does make a difference.  The Orphanages are understaffed - as many as 10 babies to 1 nanny - under funded and lack knowledge and training.  The simplest thing, like a clean diaper can make a little one feel better.  I take aid with me - mostly things that can not be bought there, it is best to buy what you can there as that in turn helps the locals and getting the aid over there is very costly and not easy to do.  I pay my own way so every penny received from donations goes to benefit the little ones (no CEO wages or administration costs, etc.).  Cash conations help to pay for formula, food, diapers, medicines, Doctor visits, blood tests, any other medical needs or necessities.  I would love to be able to do more, but I am only 1 person  with limited finances - your help could really help to make a difference. 




Ethiopia is a beautiful country, the people are wonderful, the country is really trying to do their best for the millions of orphans, but they have a long, difficult way to go.
