Assisted Living Caregiver Training Scholarships

We are Assisted Living Training School West Valley Campus and we are fund raising to create scholarships to train unemployed and social/economically disadvantaged individuals, affected by the COVID 19 pandemic, with the skills and knowledge needed to obtain employment as Assisted Living Caregivers.

Due to the rapidly increasing number of seniors needing the services of Assisted Living Facilities to meet their daily living needs and the increase in the number of new Assisted Living facilities in the Phoenix Valley, there is an increasing shortage of Certified Assisted Living Caregivers (Arizona Assisted Living Caregivers require certification by the Arizona Board of Examiners of Nursing Care Institution Administrators and Assisted Living Facility Managers (NCIA Board)).  Also, due to the COVID 19 pandemic there are a staggering number of individuals who are unemployed/under employed, but they do not have the discretionary income to retool their skills to quality for existing  Assisted Living Caregiver job openings. 

This is why your donations are needed.  These scholarships will cover training, preparation for the state certification exam, state exam fee and job placement for 20  individuals who have a passion for senior care.   100% of all funds are used to create scholarships for Caregiver and CNA/DCW to Caregiver Bridge students. 

The Caregiver Training program and subsequent certification exam can be completed in as little as 6 weeks.  Think of it, in 6 weeks someone’s life can be changed because of what you and others do today.  So, please give what you can (no amount is too small).
