Assistance for Inga Harris in USVI

Please help and donate what you can to aid my dear friend Inga Harris and her family in their recovery from Hurricane Irma in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Unlike Florida, the island is water-locked for getting needed supplies.
For those who don't know her, Inga is a native of Nashville, Tennesse, a product of the University School of Nashville, and earned a graduate degree from Tennessee State University. Like me Inga is a graduate of Spelman College, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a fellow school psychologist. Also, like me, Inga does not find it easy to ask for assistance even when she really needs it. Therefore, I am asking for assistance on her behalf in raising $5000 to make immediate home repairs (e.g., putting a tarp over the home; debris removal, etc.), to purchase a generator, to cover monthly bills, and to replace items lost (such as clothes, furniture, food) as a result of the hurricane.
It is extremely unsettling when your friend tells you she has lost her roof but it is even more unsettling to see the pictures of a home without a roof.
Because cell and internet service in the region is spotty at best, I have not been able to communicate with Inga as consistently as I would like. However, she will provide updates via Facebook (when she can) to all who have expressed concern.
