Hello everyone,
I am fundraising to pay my $900 rent for March and February's $170 PG&E bill, with any remaining funds being used for transportation, necessities, and paying back loans. As many of those in my family and community know, I have been suffering with severe symptoms of Long Covid and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome since 2023, and Chronic Migraine since 2018 - on top of also having the kind of mental health that requires regular, consistent treatment. It has been a really difficult few years. I have spent time being completely bedbound, then mostly housebound, until now where, thanks to the assistance of a specialist, I have been able to recover to a stable enough baseline to do more than I could previously, with some limitations. I still can't stand or walk for long periods of time and will typically use a wheelchair on long outings, or a cane at least. I have been able to remain off work for a year in order to recover, due to receiving income from State Disability Insurance, as well as familial support. But that income has run its course and I need to find a full time job again. I have applied to places every single day, and have still not secured a job. I do officially have an interview on February 20th so that is promising.
My hope is that I can pay my bills via crowdfunding until I secure a job and get back on my feet. It has taken a really long time to get to this point and it feels like I am so close to being in a good place. I really appreciate anyone who supports me through this, whether by simply sharing or donating. Thank you.
