Assistance for Sarina

My daughter, Sarina, is a 31 year old single mom of two beautiful  daughters, ages 12 and 9. She has a very rare heart disease called Takayasu's Arteritis.  The medicine (Prednisone) she has been on for several years to help her stay healthy is now attacking her red blood cells and she needs to change her medicine in order to stay alive.  She has a large, fast-growing thoracic aortic aneurysm on her aorta and surgery is needed to go in to stabilize the aneurysm to keep it from rupturing. This surgery is very risky, and her Prednisone must be weaned out of her body and a new drug, Remicade, infused thru IV before this surgery can be done. Remicade is not FDA approved for her condition and can only be administered by IV infusions.  This procedure costs about $1,700 per treatment.  To begin the process of weaning her body off her current medicine to the new medicine, she needs this treatment immediately, again in two weeks, again in another four weeks, and again in eight weeks so this aneurysm won't rupture and surgery can be performed.

Since Sarina needs this treatment immediately, I am asking for any financial assistance you can give.  We are attempting to get the Remicade approved by FDA and for her insurance to pay for it, but that could take awhile.  And we aren't sure her heart can hold up that long.

I am also asking for PRAYERS, PRAYERS, AND MORE PRAYERS.  I believe that prayers are answered and if Sarina could be healed, that would be the greatest result!
