Assistance for Derek Mendieta Jr.

As many of you know, my son Derek was involved in a major car accident on July 29.  Although he survived (thank God!), the doctors estimate it should take 6-12 months to recover.  He fractured his shoulders, ribs, hip, and pelvis.

He has a long road ahead of him and no income during this period.  Although it is extremely uncomfortable for me to ask for any kind of assistance, this is for him.  He has a wife and 2 kids at home.  He needs help making ends meet until he can return to his barber chair.  We are helping as much as we can, but it's just not enough to carry him through.

The money will go toward rent and monthly household expenses.  Anything you can contribute would be so very much appreciated!!
