I really hesitated to organize this campaign because I have always found it very difficult to ask for help; yet, here I am. I am very thankful for the donations I have received to date and am trying my best to cope with being in isolation the past 6 weeks. I miss my family, friends and clients. But, I have not given up hope because of the love and generosity I have seen being poured out from so many to those in need during this time of crisis
I grew up in Wheat Ridge and opened up my Spa and Wellness business in November of 2007 in the Wheatridge Professional Plaza. After leasing the retail space for several years, I opted to open up a small studio in a duplex just off 44th and Pierce Street. Since the Governor has mandated non-essential businesses to shut down, I have been trying to promote customizable Gift Certificates via my website to help generate some income toward my $1000 goal. My other two sources of employment have been suspended for an undetermined amount of time so to help me throughout this closure, I am asking for donations to apply toward my operating expenses and for rent relief until I can offer services again starting May 8th.
I realize everyone is reeling from the uncertainty of this virus so I am very well cognizant of the magnitude and far reaching effects this has had on so many of us. Thankfully this solution for small businesses was made available and any contributions would be greatly appreciated. I would be willing to offer services for any donated amount as pre-payment. I know that everything will work out and that we can all resume some sort of normalcy in the very near future. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone as we are all doing our best to stay positive and in good health while having to endure this unforeseeable pandemic. Thank you so very much for your support. We WILL get through this!
