College Expenses for MLK Wrestlers

Craig Duren (pictured below) and Shawn Anderson (front cover) walked onto the wrestling team four years ago as freshman who had never participated in the sport. Four years later both young men developed into some of the best wrestlers in the City of Philadelphia and plan to continue their academic and athletic careers at Lackawanna College, in Scranton, PA. Both were offered a small partial scholarship to wrestle there, but still need your assistance to help them defray the cost of such things as deposits, books, and tuition. Craig and Shawn are both the first in their families to have the opportunity to attend college despite overcoming situations in their personal lives that would break the will to succeed in most people  They decided that to apply the lessons taught through wrestling to overcome any obstacle placed in your path to success by hard work. If these two young men get the chance to attend, I am confident they will continue to rise to the occasion in the classroom and on the mat.
