Assist with Cancer Journey Expenses

As many of you may already know I was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer back in July 2024. Since then, I have been attacking it with chemotherapy and holistic medicine. February 26 was my final round of chemotherapy. I met with my oncologist on March 10. Blood work and scans are looking pretty good. The next step is Radiation, which they want to start the beginning of April. This will involve five weeks of treatments. Monday through Friday for five weeks. I have to stay in Philadelphia in order to do this. Then they want me to do surgery and I will be out another 3 to 6 months if that is needed. Although treatment is covered, there is the challenge of lodging, transportation, meals, etc. It has been a financial struggle, but we have been able to make it up until now.

Up to this point, I have continued to work at the school district on days that I was not in the hospital. I have also been working my business, C. L. T. Services, although at a limited capacity.

Short term disability will cover my time missed from the school district, but I will have to completely pull away from my business for at least a five weeks. Unfortunately the bills don’t stop. Friends have suggested a “GoFundMe“ page, but pride and stubbornness has stopped me. I think at this point I have to put that aside and reach out. I know times are tight now for everyone, so anything you can spare will be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to contribute, I just asked that maybe you forward or share this page to get it out there. If all you are able to do is a prayer or two, I’ll take that as well.
