Assist Wake Forest residents during the COVID19
Tax deductible
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has effected much of the world, including the Wake Forest, North Carolina area community. Cleanliness techniques have been amped up, schools have closed, travel has been restricted, social distancing has been put into place, businesses are working under altered hours and restaurants/bars have closed offering only takeout and delivery options. As a result, people who rely on hourly wages (including those who rely on tips) will suffer, having wages all but disappear overnight and in the most dire measures some have lost their jobs.
Some government relief efforts have and will be helpful, and some businesses are continuing to pay their workers for a duration of time. This group of individuals will need the immediate help from our community to provide relief to pay for basic necessities. According to the President of the United States, we can plan to see the affects of this pandemic into the summer. Therefore, it is imperative that our community is proactive and do what we can to assist those most vulnerable.
That is why we teaming up with the ChurchNet Foundation. This program directly serves members within our community by providing supplemental assistance for people struggling to pay utility costs and prescription medicine costs. Their mission is to provide supplemental financial assistance with utility costs - including electricity, water, gas, along with prescription medicine needs for individuals in Wake Forest, Youngsville and Rolesville areas. They are a registered 501(3)(C) organization and therefore your donation are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
