Help Virgie Rebuild Her Home After Storm Damage
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,
My name is Dornedria Joseph and I reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Brittany Harris, and my aunt, Virgie, who has recently suffered devastating storm damage to her home. The storms in April 2025 left her residence in a state that is now unlivable, with significant roof and water damage. There are three gaping holes in the ceiling, making it impossible for her to return.
Initially, we set a goal amount that we later realized was underestimated. After obtaining several quotes for the necessary repairs, we found that the total costs exceed $60,000. We want to be completely transparent about this situation to ensure Virgie receives the help she desperately needs.
We have reached out to every natural disaster organization, but as of now, this GoFundMe is our best option to secure the funds necessary for repairs. Your support, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in helping Virgie move back into her home.
Thank you for considering helping Virgie during this challenging time. We appreciate your generosity and kindness.
Thank you,
Dornedria C Joseph
Hello everyone,
I am writing on behalf of my grandmother, Virgie Nathan. She is 73 years old and lived in Bolivar her entire life. Virgie's home was affected by the strong winds, heavy rain and flood waters during the tornado in Hardeman County. The home that she lives in has a lot of family history and great memories. Currently, she and her daughter are in a hotel and also staying with relatives. Virgie is simply asking for some financial assistant because her home's roof/ceiling have been severely damaged. Due to high repair costs, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your support.
