We are happy to launch this fundraiser in loving memory of Kalman Gotlieb, a founding member and former chairman of the Ternopil Regional Jewish Community.

Amidst the crisis in Ukraine, the Ternopil Regional Jewish Community is assisting (1) families relocate and resettle in Poland and (2) displaced individuals with high medical needs who lack resources for medical care.

Donations will be used to:

- Pay for train tickets and emergency resettlement funds (to cover immediate food and shelter) for Ukrainian citizens escaping to Poland;
 - Purchase necessary prescriptions for disabled members who have no access;
 - Provide financial assistance for individuals with ongoing medical treatment;
 - Visit sick members of the community at home and during their stay in hospitals, and provide them with additional financial assistance;
 - Assist in the purchase of food for all members of the community, and their delivery to people who are immobile due to their health condition;
 - Provide financial assistance for the potential burial of community members, and assistance in organizing the funeral.  At the request of family members of the deceased, we invite a Rabbi.
