Hello, my name is Marcy, a girl who’s complete heart Christopher James Kubik, born 7/22/1987, lost his 11-year heroin addiction to fentanyl poisoning on 2/25/2019. One last turn, one last line, one last time before he was to get married to his soulmate the next week. He passed away in a crappy weekly motel with no covers in an open closet! I felt my baby die at 9 am Monday, Feb 25, 2019. I called the weekly to go get my son and Narcan him back to life; they refused, saying they  couldn’t leave the desk, and security wouldn’t be in till 3:30 pm. So much more to this story straight from hell. Vegas sucks to the fullest. I got the call at 5:30 pm, couldn’t tell what time he passed away due to rigor mortis setting in 8-12 hours. He had been there, no doubt it was 9 am. Assholes that let my precious son lay on their filthy weekly floor, the homicide detectives definitely ignorant with the “let’s blame the addict” attitude and the medical examiner refusing to change my son’s death certificate from accidental overdose from morphine, cocaine, and fentanyl to homicide. Room 121 became part of my grief journey.

I had no choice but to leave my cute little trailer in STL due to mold in my bedroom. Irradiated on though I started to see my grief there again, and it was God’s way of saying it’s time to leave. He keeps doing this to me, keeps taking me back to my roots. Well, Vegas is pure hell for me to be here! My PTSD is on fire and horrific docs still up and running.

I am not safe here. The advocacy is still in me; how can it not be? I have had about 4 homeless people in my car, given them money, and then found out they are addicts and pull my heartstrings, and I freely give them my money. I am not being smart and could get hurt.

This state was never good to my children. The corruption in this state is beyond anything I ever experienced. I raised my 2.5/5/11-year-old here.

The best part is it’s full of a community of all different races and cultures from all over the world.

I am about to go homeless in California. I will never get healthcare in Vegas. Heck no, all docs bad, still up and running, hospitals no thank you. I am going to get California’s healthcare, hell yes.

I am also on a journey called life. I am finally at peace that surpasses all understanding. I need this time for me, for myself, to step back and breathe air, still meditate on God’s goodness and faithfulness.

If anyone can donate, anything will help as I will be awaiting some kind of low-income housing as I am disabled from back surgery and have a pacemaker and other crap wrong with me. I will be able to get $292 in food stamps and Medicaid. Being homeless, I’m going to see a lot of California beaches.

This is my time with my son that he is in heaven. I am gonna live a drama-free, peaceful life and walk the sandy beaches of California, holding Jesus’ hand and my amazing son’s hand as I see God’s beauty and be in awe every time. I feel very blessed I was able to have my son for 31.5 years here on earth and a lifetime in my heart, soul, and memories. I am going to start writing my book, enjoy life to the fullest because it’s too short for sure. No one to worry about, my adult children. I am letting them fly. They both are doing really good in life and do not need their mom right now. Their father is dying, and they are surprisingly around his bedside. I need to let them be and mom do my bucket list. I wanna go up in a hot air balloon and other fun things. I will be able to talk to my amazing granddaughter who loves her Nana and Jesus like no other.
