I've been without my car for four months now. What I anticipated was going to be a "quick fix" turned out to be a major repair job to my engine. A broken camshaft, and other major components of the engine had to be repaired and/or replaced. I'm glad to report that "Blanca" is repaired and ready to get back out on the road. The clincher is that the cost for repair has ended up being more that double what was anticipated. As embarrassed as I am to again ask for just a little more help, I'm at the mercy of caring souls who may can help get me over the hump and cover the reamaining balance. I'm eternally grateful to everyone who has helped and to those who may be able to help. I'm grateful to my freinds who've been there for the ride to work, who've loaned me their auto and the the SunMetro city bus! :-) The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight and with help and a little prayer, I'll be back on the road and in time to start back working baseball and futbol season.
