Assist Grace, Patrick, Emma, Jack & Lucie Welch

Marty Welch (56) died unexpectedly of cardiac arrest on Wednesday evening August 12th. He leaves a family of five, including his wife Grace, children Patrick (20), Emma (18), Jack (15), and Lucie (12). The circumstances of his sudden death made it even more difficult and tragic. While Grace and Patrick were returning from the US Amateur Golf tournament in Oregon, in which Patrick participated, the other children were at home and present at his death. As well, Grace’s employment was recently terminated due to the impact of COVID19.
Marty’s family was the center of his universe; he was a loving father and husband and will be missed by all for his humor, compassion and most of all his dedication to his family and their needs. His passion for life was unmistakable and contagious, he was always "all in" in everything he did.
Funds raised will be used for immediate family expenses and future educational costs for his children, one of whom requires private schooling to meet special needs.
Grace was employed at Meeting Street School in marketing and fund development to raise funds for a school serving developmentally challenged children. Emma has worked and volunteered at a community center to provide needed activities and supervision for young children. Patrick has used his special talents in golf to help raise money for schools and other non profit organizations, and has been a role model for success in golf, and for respecting all aspects of the game.
This family has contributed much to their community. With this tragedy, they need some help with some immediate unexpected expenses and current and future educational costs. Any contribution you give will be well used for the family at this time of need and will be truly appreciated. Please help with whatever you are comfortable with…. and pass this on to your friends. Thanks so much for helping Marty's family.
