On Thursday, October 16th, around 5pm, our beloved Blair passed away unexpectedly in Erin’s arms. His sudden death has left heartbreak in its wake and Erin scrambling to navigate the many costs and logistics that follow such a loss.
While the cause is still being determined, Blair had suffered a stroke-like medical event about a year ago and had been fighting his way back to health ever since. His strength, humor, and love for those around him never wavered — even in recovery, he remained the steady, giving soul we all knew him to be.
Erin is now facing expenses for Blair’s cremation and final arrangements, as well as immediate living costs while they wait for the official inspections and death certificates — a process they’ve been told may take up to eight weeks. During this time, Blair’s accounts are inaccessible, leaving Erin without his previous financial support on top of unimaginable grief and unexpected out-of-pocket expenses.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering these urgent needs and helping Erin keep things afloat until everything is finalized.
Memorial plans will be made in time. There is no service currently scheduled; the “service date” listed is simply the target date by which Erin hopes to pay for Blair’s cremation so that everything else can follow.
Blair touched so many lives through his strength, his mirth, and his kindness. If you can help ease this transition, we would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t donate right now, please consider sharing this link to help us reach others who loved him too.
Thank you for helping us honor Blair and support Erin as they find their way through the days ahead.
Hail the traveler.
