Assist Don’s Family in Their Time of Need

Hello, my name is Crystal and I am the eldest daughter of Kim and Don Pletz. My brother Zack, son of Kim and Don, and I wanted to create this GoFundMe to help my mom and my sister, Ashley with any future expenses as we suddenly and tragically lost our dad, Don, on Friday, June 7th.

Dad was a very devoted husband, father, and Pap Pap. He loved his family immensely and worked tirelessly to make sure that all of us were provided for and comfortable in life, but the ones he provided the most for are my mom, sister Ashley, and 2 nephews Deven and Carter. The 4 of them were his tip top priority.

Almost 18 years ago my mom and dad purchased a piece of property and started building their dream home. Mom was very adamant that everything be up to handicap standards with an open floor plan before even knowing we would have a Special Needs Prince named Carter 6 years after starting to build their home.

Mom and dad have ALWAYS had an open door policy for us children to come home if it was needed and when my sister Ashley, who is a single mom, needed a home and a way to be able to give Carter and Deven the best life she could provide, they opened the door and never looked back.

Carter’s health can be complex at times and that means holding a normal 9-5 job can be tough. He can’t go to daycare like other kids and any time he is sick my sister is the one who has to be with him. This is not an easy feat when you are a single mom of 2 boys. Dad was one of Ashley’s biggest supporters in being a stay-at-mom so she could provide the care Carter needs when it is warranted. He was also her BIGGEST encourager to start her baking business. He always worked hard to make sure her and her boys never went without anything.

So, I am asking for any kind of donation that could help ease their financial burden they will feel from losing our dad. We are so beyond grateful, thankful, and loved with the amount of love and support we have already received. We thank you, truly, from the bottom of our hearts for anything that you can give.
