It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our grandson. Don was just 15 years old and was autistic. He began having seizures just 3 months ago. On Wednesday night he had a seizure in his sleep. My son found him non responsive and began cpr. The paramedics were able to revive him. He was put on life support at the hospital, but was without oxygen too long. He suffered severe brain damage. He passed on Friday evening and we had his organs donated. My son is a single dad raising his 2 children. His 12 yr old daughter is now left without her big brother. He is having to take off work without pay. We are reaching out to friends and family for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving.
