After a lifetime of teaching, scholarship, and service to the poor through psychotherapy and counseling, I am being forced out of my apartment. I need $3,000 to move.

My landlord has decided to take over my apartment for their own use (which is legal under New Jersey law). I must move somewhere, and soon.

I have the money in hand to handle the rent, security deposit, etc. But I do not have the money to actually move. The best estimate I have for movers in a local move from Weehawken NJ is $4,500.

This is my appeal to you. Please help me to move to another apartment before I am thrown out on the street.
