Aspyn Needs a New Computer

Since 2014, I have curated, organized and thrown chiptune festivals and one-night pop-ups with 8bitLA/8bitSF, wherein I sequently started doing live concert visuals under the moniker VISMANICENNE.

For the greater part of 5 years, I have performed over 25 shows. My visuals could be seen at 8bitLA's FreqFest4.0 (2015), FreqFest NorCal (2015), FreqFest5.0 (2016) and FreqFest6.0 (2017); 8bitSF's FreqFestSF 1-3 (2016-2018), POWx6 (2017) and POWx8 (2019); as well as MAGQuest (2015), MAGWest (2017 + 2018) and MAGFest (2019).

I am also a full-time graphic designer and occasional illustrator.  

So what's this campaign for? 

I desperately need help getting a new computer. I am currently using a Mid 2012 13-inch MacBook Pro which cannot upgrade anymore, only works when plugged into an outlet and the battery in critical condition.

This old dinosaur that I purchased out of pocket in college is slow and sluggish and does not have proper processing power to handle the type of media I currently create, nor what I want to dive into (VR, 3D)
