Help me help my Dad

As most of you know, my Father was in a terrible motorcycle accident yesterday in Shelton on Route 8. He was thrown from his bike. He was on his way home from getting Landen, his grandson allergy medicine. My Dad always wears his helmet but yesterday he didn't. He was just running to the store quick...so he thought. He is currently in Yale. He is completely covered in road rash, he has 3 fractured ribs and a HUGE chuck missing from the side of his head. He is in a lot of pain. When I first saw him yesterday, he didn't even look like my Dad. We are unsure how long he will be here. But we do know he has a long road to recovery and will be out of work for some time. Without his income, my parents will be not able to pay their rent or their bills. We are not normally a family to ask for help like this because we always have each other to lean on. But the one person who is always there for us....needs our help the most. I'm asking all our family and friends to help my Dad out when he needs it most. He is so worried about getting back to work so he can take care of his family. But he needs to focus on getting better. This will be a huge burden taking off his chest. My dad would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Any amount is greatly appericated. Even just a share. Please keep my Father in your thoughts and prayers.
