Help facebook friends and family! Im really nervous, but excited to be posting this. As you all know, I have been wanting to start my cake business. I am doing all my research and learning all that I possibly can on my own. Almost a year ago, I have discovered a fantastic facebook group called CAKE CENTS created by a lady named Janelle Copeland. She is very passionate about educating cake decorators on how to properly run a cake BUSINESS. I love being able to decorate cakes and making people happy, however this is my business and NOT a hobby. I want to be successful at it! Imagine being able to do what you LOVE everyday and get paid for it and not worry about working another job or worrying about how your going to pay your bills! This is my DREAM! Janelle Copeland offers an 8 week training called Passion To Profit. Open enrollment starts in late April. She only offers the training a few times a year and I would love to be able to participate in the one coming up! I thought I had missed the enrollment period, but it turns out I still have time. However, the cost is just over $2,200 for the VIP and I would really LOVE to be able to be in the VIP course because it includes a whole other training in Branding and they help with website design, logo and everything needed to start a Business for success! At first, I thought this would be stupid to ask for, but I realize its for my eduction, and education is never stupid! Then, I remember reading about how an invitation being sent to the wrong guy from one state who was accidentally invited to a bachelor party in a whole other state and started a Go Fund Me page just so he could go to the bachelors party in Vegas! Strangers from all over were willing to pay for that and he raised the money fairly quickly. Yay him. So when I think of that, I dont think its impossible to raise all the money in time and its for such a great cause :).  This is for my future and my families future!! For our success! I know there are people, strangers even, that are willing to donate :). No more excuses. This is me and my Families year!!! And even better, if i raised MORE than what I need for my Passion To Profit training, it will still be used for my business and I will be that much more closer to my DREAM!
