Tom Walker's Beating Cancer Fund

This page is for Tom Walker and his quest to beat cancer! Tom is a Surgical Tech at Vanderbilt Medical Center and was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia that requires multiple rounds of chemo and ultimately a bone marrow transplant. Tom is a family man with a wife of 25 years (this November!) and two daughters.  What you may not know is Tom is more than work and family, he is an amateur musician and beer brewer, a hockey fan, a dear friend, bad at trivia based games, a lover of festivals, a painfully slow driver, an animal lover, tall enough to ride all the good rides but not tall enough to play basketball effectively, and a man fighting a senseless disease who needs your help.  Due to treatments that basically kill his immune system and require it to regenerate slowly, Tom will not be able to return to work for 7 - 12 months and as we all know, insurance has its' limits, but medical bills do not.
