Askew Funeral Expenses

Our hearts are broken for Tom and Linda Askew upon hearing the news that their son, Michael (38, single) went home to be with the Lord this morning. His death has caught the family unawares in spite of the fact that he had come home to deal with medical problems since last December.
A mass behind his eye grew enormously, compromising his brain. It was inoperable and Michael was taken off life support today (September 5).
Please join us in prayer for Tom and Linda and the rest of the family. We would also encourage you to join our drive to help take care of funeral and other expenses that the Askews are now faced with.
Tom has always been a true friend of Christian education in Southern Arizona. He has served as school administrator, curriculum author and designer, Master Teacher across many subjects, family counselor, Sunday school teacher, personal mentor, etc. Linda has deeply impacted lives through her role as a kindergarten teacher at Faith Community Academy and other schools. Both have served faithfully on the mission field in Hong Kong and South America.
Many of us owe Tom and Linda a great deal in many ways. May God be deeply gracious to the Lord's servants, Tom and Linda, and their entire family.
Tom and Linda are a part of many communities: Catalina Foothills PCA and Rincon Mountain PCA, Faith Community Academy, Veritas Academy of Tucson, ACSTO, the Southern Arizona Christian School Association and the list can go on. We know that many will express their love for this family through these communities. But we thought it might be helpful to do this fund together to alleviate any concerns about funeral expenses and the expenses the family may have during this time of loss. Our target is to raise at least $15,000. But anything above and beyond will be a blessing to the Askews.
