Ashley Peele Breast Cancer Fund

Most of you know my daughter Ashley Peele.  She has been an exceptional student at NHHS, UNCW, NCSU as well as currently being a graduate student at the Citadel. This past year she has courageously fought Inflammatory Breast Cancer, an aggressive form of breast cancer.  Even through surgery, radiation and chemo, she continued to go to her graduate classes and also held down a job. It was a tremendous struggle when she was sick. She has had to be hospitalized several times with dehydration, stomach ulcers and a myriad of other things. Treatment was finally complete around Christmas and we were all hopeful this would be the end of it. Graduation is on May 5 and she plans to use her graduate degree in Mathematics to 
Teach Middle  school math in Charleston. Today, we got the news that there are more cancer cells in some lymph nodes. She is facing more chemo and surgery. So far we have funded anything she has needed. Now her lease has run out and she has to be out of her apartment by 5-1.  She  will have to have rent an apartment for 4 months through treatment until she can work again, hopefully in August. Our goal is to raise the money she needs for living expenses so she doesn’t have to worry about work and can focus on getting well. If you can give anything at all, please consider a small donation.
