Ashleigh Conwell and her beautiful babies

On Wednesday 2 September, young husband and father-to-be Matt Conwell passed away in sudden and tragic circumstances. He left behind his wife Ashleigh and their as-yet unborn triplets, who are due at the end of this year.

The pregnancy, delivery and care of triplets is challenging for any couple. This has now been made so much more difficult for Ashleigh with the loss of her beloved soulmate, who was so looking forward to meeting his babies.

Not only has Ashleigh’s world been torn apart emotionally, the financial hardship she now finds herself in is significant. Both Matt and Ashleigh had been impacted by COVID19 in their job roles; they were already stretching every dollar and budgeting tightly for the arrival of their unexpected but so very wanted ‘instant’ family. Losing Matt has placed an almost overwhelming burden on Ashleigh.

There has been such an outpouring of grief, love and support from so many who knew and loved Matt and who have asked how they can contribute to helping Ashleigh bring her and Matt’s little trio into the world and provide a future for them.

This page has been created for that purpose. Ashleigh would never normally ask for help of this kind but accepts that she and the babies really need it at this time.

Your contribution, however small, is so greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Rest in peace, dearest Matt.
Husband, son, brother, friend, father-to-be.
You will live forever in our hearts.
