Asher Stinson - NICU Preemie
Donation protected
My name is Jobe West and I'm fundraising on behalf of the Stinson family to help off set just some of the overwhelming cost associated with having a 27 week preemie that is going to require an extended stay in the NICU.
Asher Joseph Stinson was born 10/01/2021 and weighed in at 2 lbs. 1/2 oz. He was immediately intubated and placed on a ventilator due to the fact that he wasn't and couldn't breath on his own. Parents Stephen and Miranda were in absolute shock, couldn't believe this was really happening and numb. Just 4 days earlier, Miranda was at the house, Gabi and Riley were in school, Maddie was upstairs with her Grandmother, Stephen was at work and her water broke. Miranda was admitted to the hospital and after a couple days it seemed as if everything was going to be fine but she would need to remain in the hospital. The 3rd day changed everything and Miranda was headed off to surgery.
Asher has a fighting spirit and has been fighting ever sense he stepped into this world. The neonatologists explained Asher's grim condition and instructed the parents to PRAY.
It's been an uphill battle with obstacles, set backs, moments of joy, sadness, progress and disappointment but GOD. Asher's fighting spirit has doctors, nurses and staff scratching their heads and watching a miracle of GOD play out in front of their own eyes. When they said he couldn't, GOD said he could, when they said he wouldn't, GOD said he would. God has done greater than we could ever think or imagine and he's still doing it today. His goodness, mercy and grace has been poured out over this child and is using him in a mighty way. He's changing the lives of others, strengthening the faith of many and bringing salvation to the lost. The family has not asked for anything, but as a father who's son was born with an ASD and had open heart surgery at age 2, I can completely relate to the overwhelming feeling of not knowing what's next and the realness of life moving on. Miranda has extended her maternity leave due to an infected hematoma and has been placed on "restricted activity" with two girls at home and a husband who works 50-60 hours a week. This family needs our help now and I promise that by blessing them, others will be blessed by your generosity.
If you can donate it will definitely help but if you cant, PRAY. Prayers have been and will continue to be lifted up day and night until GOD completes his work that he started in baby ASHER.
