Help Holden Walker Walk!

Donation protected

So for those of you who know us, (and those who don't), Holden and Keely were born 15 weeks premature and suffered grade IV and V IVH while in the NICU. Holden was left with Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy, and at 4 years old he has made MANY accomplishments that not many doctors expected. (I always had hope.) Holden is able to talk, knows his alphabet, he crawls, he is potty trained, he can count to 20, and he loves to play and is one happy kid! One thing that Holden is unable to do is walk on his own. Holden uses a walker and uses AFOs (ankle braces) for his feet. Luckily, there is hope for him!! The surgery is called Selective Dorzal Rhizotomy and it is a very intense and complicated surgery on the nerves in the spine. There are two locations in the US that specialize in this procedure, one being St. Louis Children's Hospital. Holden is scheduled for surgery on August 12th in St. Louis, and we are just looking for a little help to get there, stay for a couple of weeks, and return home.l
