A second home for The Bruces

Hello, my name is Matt.  2 years ago my wife and I separated.  This coming April, our divorce will be finalized.  We will be sharing custody of our 2 children, Lili and Violet.  Our family home was purchased using an inheritence from my father-in-law, and therefore the house will be awarded to my wife.  In short, I will be moving out of the house and will be renting an apartment that will act as a second home for my daughters.  Now, during the time that my wife and I separated and the present, I have been the sole caretaker of our children.  I have paid all the bills, bought all the groceries, paid for all the childcare, cooked all the meals, etc.  Being a single parent is expensive.  Getting divorced is also expensive.  And so I haven't been able to save as much money as I would have liked to.  Moving into my new apartment is going to be expensive, and I will need to furnish it: beds for me and my daughters, furniture,  lamps, tables, silverware, dressers, etc.  Some of these things I will be taking from the home, some of them I will try to get for free or get very cheaply.  But some things I will not be able to avoid spending money on.  I want my children's second home to be a nice home, a place they want to be and spend half of their time.  Asking for help does not come easily or naturally for me, but in this case I feel like I need to reach out and just say it: I could really use some help right now.  My fundraising goal of $2000 could be first month's rent and a safety deposit.  It could be a bed for me, and beds for my daughters -- literally a cushion for us.  Please consider helping me and my family make this transition.  Thank you.
