ARVLFC Ball 2017

Donation protected
The Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club was begun at the Queen of the Damned booksigning in October, 1988 with about 35 names and addresses collected for newsletters.  Anne said Lestat would love to have a fan club and it was and is still a success.  The first ARVLFC Ball was in Oct. 1989 at an art gallery X Art in New Orleans.  There have been five presidents of the fan club, Melanie Scott, Teresa Simmons, Susie Miller, Ritchie Champagne and Sue Quiroz.  Ritchie closed down the fan club at the time the internet began in 2000.  There was no Ball in 2001 and I heard a lot of complaints about that.  I restarted the annual Ball in 2002 with my own money.   Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, the Ball was cancelled due to major damage to our city.  Since I was unemployed and had no house, I had to restart the fan club in 2006.  It was successful again and the Balls were well attended.  In 2015, I had a major set back that caused me to make loans and now, to this day, I am still paying for them.  I need to provide some extras to the talent this year so I have started this Go Fund Me account to solicite donations to keep bringing quality entertainment to Anne Rice's fans.  I hope you all will help me to bring you the level of fun and entertainment you have come to enjoy while renewing and meeting our regulars who attend the Ball every year.  Thanking you all in advance for helping to support the Anne Rice's Vampire Lestat Fan Club's annual Ball.
