Art's Medical Trip

Where do I start? Art was an active husband. He played soccer all his young life and as an adult we would share the diamond playing Co-Ed softball on Fridays. Then as the girls grew older he became their coach and was awesome at it! He had several teams and was always very active with the girls. Not until recently that he began to have shortness of breath and hard time walking did we think anything was wrong. He had to eventually quit coaching and quit all sports related activity due to the shortness of breath. Well yesterday 01/09/18 was the worst. He couldn't even walk into the ER. They immediately attended him and got him help he was rushed to ICU and we soon found out that he is not going anywhere! He has a Saddle Pulmonary Embolism and it has taken over his lungs. They also found blood clots in his legs and he will need a filter for that. The main concern is the Saddle one and for that one we will need to travel to Houston to take care of. We are terrified but positive that we will get through this. I have made this GoFundMe me account because obviously I am going to have to travel with him to Houston and will be out from work. It's not easy to ask for help but I pray that this does not take a finical strain on our lives. This has been an Emotional roller-coaster and it’s just going to get worse. Please Pray for us.
