Struggling Artist Emergency Fund

Hey everyone,
My name is Vincent Kukua. I am an aspiring illustrator who was recently terminated from my job at a large publisher. Since the termination, I've done all I can to keep a roof over my head and the lights on, while I continue to look for work and forge ahead with several comic projects. I've done some odd illustration and graphic design jobs here and there and have a somewhat steady freelance gig as a production artist for a much smaller publisher. Even with that, the debts are mounting and I'm in a situation now where I'm not sure I can successfully pay all of my bills and keep my dreams of becoming a professional illustrator alive.
This is why I come to GoFundMe and its patrons for help. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not one to ask for help. I think I might just as well go to the brink of homelessness before I do anything to benefit my own well-being, but I've thought long and hard about this and I do want to do all I can to pursue my dreams and if it means humbling myself in front of the critical eye of the internet, then so be it.
I try to see a silver lining in everything and my termination has only allowed me to focus harder on the things I need to do to get my career as an artist going full-throttle. As I've stated before, I have several projects lined up and in verious stages of progress. One, is definitely paid work once I'm done with my pages, and several others I'm doing simply for the love of creation. There are plans in place to publish and I am very hopeful, almost completely because my collaborators are excellent writers and connected in ways that I am not. So the future is bright.
The present, on the other hand is not. I'd like to reach out my hand to you all and ask for anything you can provide, in order for me to pay my rent and keep a roof over my head, pay my bills and keep the lights on while I ply my chosen trade, and pay for food and drink so I can be rested and relaxed, not stressed and unfocussed on the task at hand.
I have opened up a few rewards levels for anyone who decides I'm worthy of a donation. I had a drawing once, several years ago, of myself, holding a sign that said, "WILL DRAW FOR FOOD". That drawing is quite appropriate in this trying time. Please take a look and if you can offer something, I will be truly grateful. If you can over more than a little, then I may be able to send you a little something in return for your generosity.
