dancers:
I would like to be able to pay my dancers rehearsal times for short noticed performance invitations at two festivals in Slovenia in April and Amsterdam in June. The festivals don't cover needed rehearsal times.
My dancers are so incredible committed that they would rehears for free, but I can not let this happen. No one should. Unfortunately there are no funding places which provide support for such short noticed invitation and for rehearsal time even less.
light-designer and composer:
I get the chance to create work for a bigger company, supporting young choreographers. My work is only a 4th of the whole without my team of dancers, light-designer and composer. Together we make the work. Unfortunatly light and music isn't always seen as such an important part of contemporary dance, which shows the zero budget for this parts.
To be able to deliver quality work I would also like to raise financial support for my light-designer and composer.
