Artificial Pancreas - Please Help!

Donation protected
My son Kalan Dillon (now 11 years old) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes one year ago. He currently has an animas pump, but the company went BANKRUPT! So, now we are running around trying to come up with the cash to pay for Kalan to be on the artificial loop (670 G System). Medtronic's artificial loop (pancreas) will mean that Mike and I no longer have to test Kalan throughout the night every 90 minutes. For the last year, Mike and I have been setting alarms and getting up in the middle of the night 4-5 times. I wish I could say that Kalan's blood glucose have been stable, but we have two nights a week where Kalan is above 600 and his meter can't even register his actual BG number and we've had quite a few lows (40's and 50's) that have scared the heck out of all of us. I absolutely hate asking for financial help, but I have to because this is for our son and he needs help. With this new G system, he will get a CGM, four boxes of infusion sets, as well as a closed loop pump that will adjust itself by reading his blood glucose every 5 minutes. Please know that I will pay this forward in the future. I promise! Please help us afford this life-saving devise for our 11 year old child. Thank you in advance!
