Artaya Loka Store .. Post-COVID Recovery

Artaya Loka is an American fashion brand specializing in jewelry and clothing.
Pre-COVID, I opened an unconventional retail shop in Nashville, TN that housed its namesake collection along with accessories and home goods from other makers.
As someone who was mistreated in retail establishments for my appearance, I understood the importance of having inclusive spaces and I was excited to open one of my own. The shop provided a welcoming and fun shopping experience to people of all skin tones, gender expressions, and backgrounds.
Due to the effects that COVID-19 and the March 3rd tornado had on our local economy, the mandatory business shutdowns, and the safety guidelines for public spaces - the less than 200sqft shop couldn't operate comfortably and has since closed.
I continue to sell products via www.artayaloka.com, and dream of reopening a shop.
The Goal
I set the 200k goal six months into the pandemic. What can I say?! Six months without human contact will make you fearless enough to ask for what you desire.
If this campaign is fully funded, I'll have enough funding to reopen in a larger post-COVID space with employees and switch from "I" to "we."
If this campaign is partially funded, I'll focus on your online experience and host pop-up events like Pronoun Party(when it's safe to do so).
