Local RVA Artist's Van and Livelihood Stolen

It seems like this has been a hard season for a lot of the folks I know. From the near loss of limb to the full loss of livelihood, 2019 is one for the books.
Kim Eubank and Jonah Green were holding it all together on duct tape and credit, gearing up for a big summer, packed with shows, travel and brand new work. They were literally gassing up last night, when it all went down. Jonah glanced up from the counter in time to see the bastards pull away in their brand new van, packed to the brim and ready for the first art festival of the season. Their entire body of artwork, their camera, their new display they had just built, their camping gear and generator just rolled down the street.
The police were called and reports were filed, but they aren’t holding their breath for a miracle. They have some insurance that will cover the cost of supplies and the vehicle, but there is a $2000 deductible.
Ambitiously, It will take between 6 months and a year to build a new body of work. Jonah and Kim make 80% of their income during the summer months and now they have nothing.
They need money to rebuild their display, purchase a new vehicle, make a new body of art, and pay off the $2000 deductible; this all so they can get back on the road and just begin paying their bills.
Jonah and Kim are good people. They work hard. They are members of our tribe. Sometimes the wheels fall off and you need help. Sometimes the wheels you’ve worked hard for all your life roll down the street without you while you are powerless to do anything but watch and cry or chase and curse.
