On March 30th, 2018, we lost our beloved Art Leritz due to complications following his planned open heart surgery on the 27th. Art brought so much light to this world with his generous spirit, positive outlook on life and quick wit. Every single interaction with Art left you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your chest. There are simply not enough words to adequately express how remarkable of a man he was.
While the loss of such an incredible individual has been absolutely heartbreaking to the entire Elkins and Priest Lake communities, we can only begin to imagine the pain that his wife and family are feeling.
In this time of uncertainty and devastation, it is important for us to come together and give what we are able to help lessen the medical, funeral and cremation expenses that have been thrust upon Shannon and the family. The last thing anyone needs to be thinking about after such a devastating loss, is money, and it would make Art so happy knowing that his family is being well taken care of in his absense.
We're hoping with a little extra help from some amazingly kind people, we can lighten the financial burden and relieve some of the worry off of Shannon and the rest of the family. Hopefully with less financial concerns, they will be able to focus on grieving, healing, remembering and adjusting to life without Art.
