Art Force 5's Female Empowerment Mosaic in Miami

Paint tribute to women's empowerment!
Art Force 5 uses the power of art to lead accessible and creative projects, bringing community members together around often difficult topics. We have partnered with NAACP, NFL NETWORK, NY COMIC CON, GOVERNORS ISLAND and numerous POLICE DEPARTMENTS.
Most recently, the team has traveled to five NFL stadiums and built tributes to women's empowerment icons to honor the centennial of the passing of the 19th Amendment. We ask fans to simply paint one 3" tile within our mobile tribute mosaics while we model jerseys adorning the faces and names of impactful women.
We liken the passion and admiration shown by fans wearing sports jerseys to our passion for honoring inspirational women. The art making furthers our effort to educate, enthuse, and empower everyone we meet.
The Art Force 5's first GoFundMe drive will allow us to take our program to Miami prior to the Super Bowl and pay tribute to Mary McLeod Bethune. Bethune’s legacy includes founding a college for African-American students (now Bethune-Cookman College) and founding the United Negro College Fund to support higher education funding of students.
For Miami, the Art Force 5 is seeking locations and partners for this mobile mosaic. This fundraising effort would cover supplies and expenses for a team of five or six students and two professionals to travel to Miami the week prior to the Super Bowl.
The team is nimble enough to set up their pop-up art making in almost any space, indoor or outdoor. Ideal locations near the stadium or NFL experience and may include schools, parks, and restaurants willing to grant a small outdoor space to the art build. The Art Force also seeks opportunities to present at schools and engage youth in educational art-making.
Any additional or excess funding will go directly to another trip, as we plan to travel the country possibly making 19 mosaics in total (7 completed thus far).
