Hello, welcome to our fundraising page! We are The BC Collective, a diverse group of artist educators who have come together during our art education master's program at Teachers College. Many of us are long-time educators, who have dedicated our creative careers to nurturing artists in the K-12, undergraduate level and community arts space. Recently, we have committed ourselves to a graduate program that focuses on the shared goal of revitalizing our personal art practices and creative development. We strongly believe that our strengthened personal practices will enhance our current and future work as artist educators, and as the culminating event of our studio program, we aim to showcase our growth and intentions through a group exhibition at the Painting Center in July 2023. As educators, we feel it is important to highlight the benefits that our personal artwork can bring to our professional practices and those we serve in the community. We are excited to show this dynamic through the exhibition and hope to share the dialogue between our works. We strive to promote the arts and inspire any and all, who are working in our communities to pour into their creative lives, regardless of method or medium. As artist educators and students, we need to raise funds in order to make this group show possible. We hope you will consider contributing to our fundraiser, helping us bring our goal to fruition. Any donation amount would be deeply appreciated! Thank you in advance for your support and we hope to see you at The Painting Center*, The BC Collective.
