Arrington's Medical Fund

On Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 Arrington Keys suffered a traumatic injury while vacationing in Florida with her family.  Arrington was out to dinner on Anna Maria Island getting ready to sit down to eat and missed her seat falling onto the floor.  She quickly was attended to by a sports trainer and an EMT who both were at the restaurant.  Anna Maria Oyster Bar staff and manager quickly responded by calling 911.  A quick response got Arrington to Blake Medical Center where she was evaluated and set up for surgery to stabilize her ankle.  Arrington broke her left ankle in several places, splitting the tibia length wise and breaking the fibula in two places near the base of the ankle.Arrington’s recovery is going to be long and expensive.  She will have to be transported back to her home town near Mobile, AL before she has her next surgery to install plates and screws to start the healing process.



Arrington, her fiancé Brad and their two children, Alexander and Maelynn live in Daphne, AL.  Arrington is in her first-year teaching 6th grade at Pine Grove Elementary School, Bay Minette, AL.   She has limited insurance available to her through her teaching position.
She will be out of work for at least 3 months as her medical bills mount up.   Arrington is a 1998 graduate of Mason High School, Mason, MI.  And received her teaching degree from Central Michigan University.  She did her student teaching in Lansing and Mason Michigan. She lived in Mason MI most of her life.
Arrington was born in Columbus, Ohio.  Her father W. Bruce Keys (Kelly) lives in St. Louis, MO and her mother lives in Lexington, VA.  Arrington has a strong caring support family including her sister Clare Keys, Lexington, VA; Aunt Kathy Keys Little, Okemos, MI; Aunt Julie Keys Griffin, Bradenton, FL. Aunt Laura Keys Cranston, St. Louis, MO.
