We've set up this GoFundMe page in response to the overwhelming support of friends, family and community members asking how they can help the Arriaga family from Santa Rosa, CA.
Like many families in Northern California, Hilary and Henry Arriaga's life has been dramatically changed by the wildfires that are sweeping across Sonoma and Napa Counties. Fortunately, the couple, their 18-month old daughter Athena, puppy Luna and kitty Charlie were safely evacuated in the early morning of October 9th.
Hours later the young family learned their home and the Coffey Park neighborhood had been devastated by the fire -- every belonging destroyed except the clothes on their backs and a single box of photos. The coming days, weeks and months will be a time to rebuild and try to live as normally as they can despite this awful event.
We invite you to contribute funds for the family’s immediate needs while they figure out the next steps. Any donation is greatly appreciated, no matter the size or amount, and will go towards helping get this family back on their feet.
Donated funds will be used for toddler’s diapers and wipes, winter shoes and jackets, onesies, bottles and utensils, socks, shirts, toiletries and everyday items to sustain them for the next several months.
