Arrangements for George Rutledge to Rest

This morning everyone lost a good man. Our beloved "Feets" was able to reunite with his wife whom he loved and missed so dearly. As much as this hurts all of his family and friends, we all know that he deserves to be at rest. His only daughter, Rita, is trying to plan the arrangements and just found out that the life insurance policy he had was no longer active. This is not the time to try and stress about how to provide George with a service. She has a plot and the funeral home that has taken care of the rest of the family needs $4000. Anything left over will go towards the best headstone we can find. When his wife, Irene, passed away he spent many months saving his money and had us driving him all over so that he could find the perfect headstone. He was so happy when he found the one and it would mean so much to everyone to be able to give him the same. 

Rita is working to plan the service and has asked for me to help with this because she is beyond overwhelmed. If funds can be gathered soon enough, she hopes to set this up for this weekend. If not, hopefully by next Saturday. We will all do our best to involve as many people as we can. Feets made his mark in McKinney for many many many years and we know that a lot of people are upset by this news. Please pray for the family. His daughter, grandkids and great grandkids are going to need to be covered in all the love we can because George loved them all so much.
