Arpan Has Lost His Mum

it is with a heavy heart that we tell you Arpan has lost his mum now. She fought with all her might but could not overcome her injury. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones yesterday :-(
As many of you know, 6yo Arpan was only re-united with his mother approximately 1 year ago, after she came here to Australia to fight for a better life for him. And now she is gone. The only thing Anjana ever wanted was for her boy to have a safe, secure future. She sacrificed everything for him to have that.
If anyone out there is able to help by sacrificing even just a few dollars, please donate. Every dollar counts. Any donations will be graciously accepted.

ORIGINAL STORY
Arpan is 6 years old. A gorgeous, bright little boy who loves cars and swimming. His parents wanted the very best life for him. When he was just 5 months old his mother Anjana and father Cheten came here to Australia, leaving Arpan with his grandparents in India.
Anjana & Cheten fought hard for 5 years to get their residency through. They lived frugally, worked every available hour, saved every hard earned dollar for the application fees, all the while sending money back to India for Arpans care. They worked first in Melbourne, then came to the small town of Kuranda in far north Queensland where Anjana worked as a deli assistant, and Cheten got work car detailing, then at a local chicken processing factory.
All this time Arpan was back in India without his parents. Chetin and Anjana did return to India for brief visits, but of course would have to leave him behind when they returned.
Finally, their hard work paid off. The residency came through and Arpan could come here to Australia. He came with his grandparents and settled in well to Australian life, despite not speaking English. He started school and picked up English very quickly. The family relocated back to Melbourne, where there was a large Indian community. Arpan was finally getting to know the parents who loved him so dearly.
On Good Friday 2018, The family took a rare break, and were visiting one of Melbourne’s beaches. Anjana & Cheten were taking photos of the ocean on some rocks when a freak wave washed them into the sea. Anjana couldn’t swim, and tragically was pulled from the water unconscious. She is currently on life support in a Melbourne Hospital. She is not expected to survive.
Arpan will lose his mother. We can all imagine how awful it is to unexpectedly lose a loved one, let alone being a 6yo boy who was just getting to know his mother.
Arpan deserves the secure future his parents wished for him. Can you help? Any donations will be accepted with grace and gratitude, every little bit helps Arpan. The intention for this money is to set up a trust for Arpan for his education and future needs, whatever they might be.
