A Room Of Your Own Go Fund Me Campaign
A ROOM OF YOUR OWN is an interactive book club targeted for teen girls (13-18 years of age) from low income neighbourhoods of all races and ethnic backgrounds. The objectives of this book club is to focus on mental health and wellness. A ROOM OF YOUR OWN is a forum to share fun, feelings, and opinions with one’s peers and with favourite authors. What makes this book club so engaging, exciting and different from all the others is that the author is always present, allowing readers to interact in a meaningful way with them. A ROOM OF YOUR OWN will not be intimidated by any subject matter! We always have the author present along with a specialist in the particular issue dealt with in the book.
We would love your support in helping us raise funds for this innovative initiative. No donation is too small! Our goal is to raise $40,000. The money raised will go to pay for all the costs related to the book club e.g. buying books so that various schools and teen girls can participate, flying in authors and paying for their accommodations while they are in Toronto.
We are a not for profit organization entitled "Giving Back Productions". Your help is greatly appreciated and much needed. Make our dreams come true this Holiday Season and keep us up and running.
