</div>Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues: <br /><br />It's hard to believe but it's now been over 7 years since ClearWater Initiative formally merged with the International Lifeline Fund and our respective water programs were integrated into what is now known as Lifeline's "ClearWater Initiative." <br /><br />Together, under the Lifeline name, the joining of our combined forces has successfully provided increased access to clean water access throughout Northern Uganda. In continued support of our collective efforts, we are back to run our 14th (my 12th!) Army Ten-Miler in Washington, DC! <br /><br />All funds raised will support our sustainable clean water projects. My personal goal is to raise a total of $2,000 but, to do so, I need your help. Any amount is appreciated. <br /><br />This October marked the 14-year anniversary of Ben Sklaver’s death  - my dear friend s and Army Captain - while serving in Afghanistan.  <br /><br />Today, Ben’s mission and vision lives on through Lifeline. Since 2003, Lifeline has provided clean water access to over 300,000 people in Northern Uganda at a cost of just over $12 per person. We are proud to honor Ben’s legacy and are hopeful to have even greater impact through this partnership. A successful campaign will enable Lifeline to continue Ben’s inspiring vision of providing clean water to those in the direst of circumstances.
