Cash per Case: Support Your Humane Officers

Our two humane police officers (HPOs) are unpaid volunteers who cover their own expenses.

Would you like to support our HPOs by sponsoring a case?

Our new Cash per Case (CpC) pays $30 to each case investigated to cover basic supplies and materials (it is not a salary or pay).

This money will be used for pet food and supplies for families or seniors in need; animal rescue supplies including catch poles, traps, and personal protective gear; vehicle fuel; veterinary expenses including medical supplies and necropsies (animal autopsies) and other costs as they occur.

The HPOs are available 24/ 7 and dedicate hundreds of hours investigating animals that are victims of cruelty, neglect, and abandonment. They serve Armstrong County’s 65,000 people spread across 664 square miles, taking more than 100 cases a year.
