Arly Kruse was an educator for nearly 40 years of her 75 year life, and believed that education is the gateway to a brighter future. Beginning with teaching full time in various Boulder Valley elementary schools and continuing through substitute teaching as a young mother and one-on-one tutoring until retirement, Arly wholeheartedly believed she could make an impact on the world by teaching others.
To honor Arly’s passion for education, an 501(c)(3) in the name of the Arly Kruse Educational Foundation has been established with the help of professionals within the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD). Governed by a board of retired and current educators, the foundation will provide needed funding for families in BVSD who would otherwise be unable to provide their children with one-on-one tutoring.
We hope to carry on Arly’s legacy and belief that all children are gifted and can succeed if given a little help and a bit of individual attention along the way.
