Arlos surgery bills

This is Arlo, our five month old border collie pup.

After a few weeks of not being himself and unsure why, he has recently diagnosed with a Portosystemic shunt, meaning any food or water he digests is not passing through the liver. This means that his body is theoretically poisoning his blood.

He is going to need surgery to correct this shunt and will help him live along and healthy life. unfortunately without the surgery he wont be able to live a normal life. He will live for 5-6 years and then will go into liver failure

so we are doing everything in our power to make sure he can get this surgery. There has been lots of tests Resulting in some hefty vet bills.

So therefore, I’m asking for some help and would love to help mum and dad more with all of this . It doesn’t need to be much, but anything is greatly appreciated as he is our baby and we want the best for him.

UPDATE: arlo had a consult with the surgeon and he gave us the price of his surgery…. $12,000
